Security Training

Security, whether personal or for a large group, starts with situational awareness. Situational Awareness is the basics of seeing what’s around you, what’s going on, and more importantly, what’s about to happen. The goal is to have these skills to walk daily not as paranoid people, but just observant to your surroundings – prepared to face what arises before you.

Church Emergency Consulting can bring a seminar to your school, church, or organization that will not only teach you the basics of situational awareness, but also what to do when things JDLR. What’s JDLR? When something “JUST DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT.”

By being taught how to observe the norms, we can be shown how to recognize the abnormal. By learning how to look for the abnormal, participants will increase their ability to interact with everyone coming into their environment and to stay safe while living their everyday lives.

Church Emergency Consulting partners with schools and churches to develop and teach, train, equip, and even help recruit for volunteer security teams for businesses, churches and schools.

Risk Assessment

With a simple on-site visit, we can do a detailed risk assessment of your property using a five step process:

Step 1: Identify the hazards. i.e. anything that may cause harm or access to harm.

Step 2: Decide who might be harmed and how.

Step 3: Evaluate the risks and decide on precautions.

Step 4: Record the findings and suggest ways to implement them.

Step 5: Review the risk assessment and advise on updates where needed

Church Emergency will partner with your organization to conduct a day-long seminar at your site to train your personnel as well as to organize it in a way that your training is paid for by bringing in similar organizations to your building with a fee based attendance. This fee charged will pay the speaker’s fees as well as for the training of your team (essentially giving you free training). There is even a possibility of bringing in sponsors to cover the costs involved with the seminar.
